CAN-DO
A downloadable Pitch
What is CAN-DO?
CAN-DO is a game made by students of Abertay University during a 4th year game jam when given the prompt "Mens mental health". We were tasked with making a game for the Whalesong Park exhibit next to the VnA in Dundee.

The name "CAN-DO" comes from the CAN-DO challenge that has been run through many of the Men's mental health weeks over the years. It's an acronym that stands for:
Connect - connect with other people (eg. call an old friend or family member)
(be) Active - move your body (eg. go for a run/walk/swim/dance/etc)
Notice - take notice of the environment around you (eg. turn off your phone for an hour and look around)
Discover - learn something new (eg. read a book you haven't read before)
Offer - do something for someone else (eg. volunteer for a local community group)
Our goal with this game?
- To lift the weight off the shoulders of the players.
- To remove the stigma around mental health and talking about their mental health.
- To show that you can take steps to better your mental wellbeing, but talking to people and asking for help makes it a whole lot easier.
- To teach people about different methods and steps for better mental wellbeing while having fun.
